Error codes

Below are possible errors and error codes of the transaction. Please note that the reason for failure depends upon the error codes provided by different banks and hence the detailing of error reason may differ from one transaction to another.

BATCH_ERRORSubmitting multiple transactions in a single file is an efficient way to upload credit card and electronic check transaction data from enterprise applications or other file-based systems. An error occurred during batch processing of the cardsE216
TRANPORTAL_ID_ERRORThis error comes when Bank does some changes in the terminal/plug-in profile of the merchant. If the merchant receives this error Bank should generate a new resource file and forward the same to the merchant. E217

AMOUNT_DIFFERENCE Whenever the response is received from the bank, it is encrypted. When the secure hash fails, this error is generated E704

PIN_RETRIES_EXCEEDED The transaction failed due to an invalid Primary Account Number. (Primary Account Number or PAN is the number that is embossed and/or encoded on a plastic card that identifies the issuer and the particular cardholder account.) E710
INVALID_CARD_NAME Card authentication failed as the user exceeded the maximum number of permitted retries for PIN E711
